Baldrick
(aka TGCA* Alnakeed Cunning Plan) is our Sphynx neuter boy, I had wanted a Sphynx for as long as I can remember, so when Ian surprised me with Baldrick I was over the moon!
He has been to several GCCF Shows on exhibtion and hopefully sometime soon will be able to go in for competition in them too!
But he has been shown under Fife with Felis Britannica club "The Aristocats" and under TICA with "CatTica" of the two systems we think we prefer the TICA system of points and ring judging.
At his first TICA show Baldrick got Best of Colour in each of the 4 rings, Best of Division & Best Sphynx Kitten twice, 2nd Best of Division twice, was put forward for two finals and was placed 5th and 7th Best Kitten in the Specialty Shorthair Kittens finals.
At his Second TICA show (Derby 11/02/2006) and his first show as an adult, he was Best of Division in 2 rings, 2nd Best of Division in 2 rings & 3rd Best of Division in 1 ring, he got Best of Colour in all 5 rings, and was placed in two All breed finals getting 8th and 9th best alter. Which means he gained his title "Champion Alter".
Baldrick has now done another TICA show, (Bracknell 11/03/06) in his first ring he was best of colour and best of division, and was put through to the specialty final, in the final he was placed 1st Best Alter, and gained his Grand Champion title in style !!
we were on cloud nine for the rest of the day, in his next 3 rings he was placed best of colour in all of them, best of division, 2nd best of division and 3rd best of division, was placed in an all breed final and got 7th place.
We have also now done our first 2 day show, at the Bletchley Leisure Centre in Milton Keynes, Baldrick did really well, getting his Double Grand Champion title on day one and gettting his Triple title on day two!!!
